#1 Make sure your family is safe and you have Food and Shelter.
#2 Do not return to the fire until it is has been deemed safe by the fire department. Do not go back in without a mold grade respirator. There are toxic chemicals that could kill you in there.
#3 Call you insurance agent and file a claim- Only tell them facts and what you know. Do not speculate as what ever you can and will likely be used against you.
#4 Take your phone and take a video of all of your damages. The longer and more detailed the better.
#5 Get your own Private Adjuster. Let you insurance carrier know that a lowball offer will not be acceptable
